Security has become one of the main concerns for states, governments and citizens. In order to analyze their causes and propose solutions, specialists and decision makers usually resort to different theories of security. If at first, the object of attention was the state and the defense of its sovereignty, the issue has evolved and become more complex. CELAEP addresses the issue of security from a multidimensional and comprehensive approach. This approach encompasses the following dimensions: public safety, security and defense, intelligence and counterintelligence, democracy and governance, social and human development, cyber security and risk management.
